I made the mistake of going to Wilson's Carmike Cinema's to TRY and see the new Bond adventure "Quantum Of Solace". Below is the feedback I left on the Carmike site...One day I'll learn....
People wonder why theater business is bad? Just visit your Wilson location. I attended the 5:00 showing of the newest James Bond film ( I had eagerly been waiting for) and had to crawl to my seat in pitch darkness, tripping on the steps. No light from the screen or ceiling. After the film started I noticed the masking was closed...the picture overshooting the sides dramatically...after complaining in the lobby 3 times...I returned to my seat only to be leaked on from the rain coming in the ceiling..slipping twice on the soaked floor when I moved. I finally gave up and stayed ONLY because I wanted to see the film so badly...I watched the entire film seeing mostly only actor Daniel Craig's nose...the masking finally opened during the last 10 minutes of the film. My family managed and ran the first movie theaters in Wilson years ago. We took pride in presenting a good show. My...we've come a long way to the gum snapping experts running your establishment.
