Project: Greenlight

We had the new Greenlight Services installed yesterday. Wilson, NC's answer to Time Warner Cable. Utilizing new fiber optic technology and much faster internet speeds, its quite an improvement. The picture quality is uniformly superb. It looks much like satellite. The one glitch I've seen so far is that WGN Chicago has line interference in the picture. Time will tell if its the station itself or not. The sound fluctuates from channel to channel too which can be annoying. I'm still familiarizing myself with the DVR and it seems to work well. It has PIP features and you can record two shows while watching a third which is kind of neat. They have not installed the phone service yet, but the internet is everything promised...MUCH faster than Roadrunner. Overall, a vast improvement from the ancient cable "service" we have had to endure all these years from the Time Warner Overlords...keep your fingers crossed.
